As stated in " Why you should choose a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Practicioner," published by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.,

"Choosing a financial planner may be one of the most important decisions you make for yourself or your loved ones.  Financial planners can provide you or your family with guidance over your lifetime, or work with you to address specific concerns as needed.  A planner can play a central role in helping you meet your life goals and achieve financial well-being.  Consequently, take the time to select a planner who is competent and trustworthy, one on whom you can depend for professional advice and services.  Your future depends on the choices you make...

"Most people think that all planners are "certified," but this isn't true.  Anyone can call himself or herseld a "financial planner."  Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of CFP Board can display the CFP certification marks.  When selecting a financial planner, you need to feel confident that the person you choose to help you plan for your future is competent and ethical.  The CFP certification provides that sense of security..."

In addition to being a CFP, or CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, Marc had earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA, which was founded in 1927.  Candidates for the ChFC designation must complete a ten course curriculum of study and 20 hours of supervised examinations.  The ChFC program focuses on the complete financial planning process as an organized way to collect and examine information on a client's total financial situation; identify and establish specific goals; and formulate, implement, and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals.  The subject matter covered by the program includes financial planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation, life and health insurance, business and health planning, investments, and retirement planning.

Marc has also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation from The Aerican College.  The CLU program was designed by University of Pennsylvania Professer Solomon S. Huebner, the College's founder.  The subject matter covered by the program  in luded life and health insurance, pension planning, insurance law, income taxation, investments, financial and estate planning, and group benefits.  In addition to a course of study and supervised examinations, candidates for the CLU designation must fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements.
